I still love Barbie, but now that I am a stay-at-home mom, and I don't have a paying job, there are times I have to sell dolls and doll clothes in order to pay for things we might need.
It's been 10 years since I started collecting Silkstone Barbie. And I've loved this hobby of collecting Barbie, redressing, and photographing, and of course participating in doll forums, including here at In the Pink.
Maybe once my last kid goes off to preschool, and I return to the workforce, later on I might come back to collecting Barbie. Time definitely goes by fast.
By then, I hope Mattel brings back the Classic Silkstone Barbie dolls I miss.
