I bought some superstar era Barbie clothes and in it a 1979 Barbie wedding dress and an '80s Day to night set that are both white lace/net. They have however really discoloured. They are like yellow now. I tried soaking in some warm water with washing powder and that really only seemed to shift surface dirt and grime. I really don't know what to use to get them back to white or close to it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks p.s The Day to Night set is the foreign news reporter one I think. It's a white lacy top with a white polyester skirt, also yellowed bad. And it comes with a different brownish coloured blouse.
