A year ago today Daddy went to Heaven. It's been a tough year & I don't know what I would have done without my friends & family & Barbie.
I started organizing & redressing a few dolls last night. This kind of stuff takes my mind off of what's bothering me. I've decided I don't need any more dolls, furniture or things for my dolls other than fashions. I NEED more vintage fashions so I'll be focusing on collecting those now. We'll see how it goes.
This baby has been a life saver for me. She is so sweet and is such a comfort to me. She's wearing her little sundress on this last day of summer. It says Little Bit Country on the back and the word Country is a lasso in glitter. ; ) Gotta love those denim ruffles. Just looking at her brings a smile to my face. My parents both loved her like another grandchild. : ) The last weekend we spent with Daddy he would hold her in his lap while he was in his wheel chair & she would get a ride with her Papa. He enjoyed throwing her ball & watching her fetch it back to him time & time again. I miss him so much! I miss him & Mama & Grandma terribly still. I've come to the conclusion that grief never leaves us. We just learn to live with it.
