I use a variety of settings, lenses and light sources. Every shot is kind of unique. I will say that some of the best photos or rather favorite photos that I have done are done in natural sunlight with minimal settings and a regular lens ( non telephoto). Most of the diorama scene shots that I do, I use a tripod. Hope this helps.
