I enjoyed reading your story, what a fond memory Steph.
Barbie Bazaar magazine, back in the late 1980's, were a gingery midge wearing part of the nurse's outfit, and a gorgeous pale blond skipper with a case and some clothes. Both were bought at a wonderful store in Waltham, MA, called Mr. Big's Toyland. They had a mix of old and new - my hubby found a Frankenstein model kit that he then put together and painted. Such fun stuff! Anyway, Midge and Skipper started my vintage collection.
