: Val, I really don't understand what makes the
: picture the size it is when you post but I
: can tell you what I do & maybe you can
: get something useful out of it. I take my
: pictures at the largest setting so that I
: have good clear photos. But then I open it
: in a program, Paint Shop Pro (much less
: expensive than Photoshop), & I save the
: photo under another name so I still have the
: good original & I use the option to
: resize the photo. I do pixel resize &
: get it down to around 60 kb or I wouldn't be
: able to download it into Picturetrail on
: dial-up. I also use the 'sharpen more' tool
: to get a clearer pic. It adds kb's but is
: even sharper than a photo with more kb's
: that I don't use the 'sharpen more' option
: on. In picturetrail though, I resize the
: image to x tra large which I just found out
: does not change the size/ measurement of the
: photo when I post.
