larryforsm Noticed that you have started advertising again. This must mean
that you are now bullish on the market. How will the cost of
this advertising affect earnings?
barry i am not bullish on the mkt - we just felt that we need to "show
the flag" - the days of dot com mania
barry of startups throwing millions in advert. is over - we plan to
keep the cost down
barry in fact we're probably not going to increase our spending 2nd
qtr compared to 1qtr by more than 300k

buying back shares on the cheap?
barry it's actually one and the same - buying back shares increases
our eps - it's almost like a stock dividend to shareholders
without any tax

the trading revnues, monthly fees from mytrack users or some
other?

traderjak r earnings gonna be on a consistent upward trend now? did u
start the 3mil stock buyback yet?
barry we have started the 3 m buyback.
barry as for guidance on earnings for the 2nd qtr.
barry revenues should be a bit down
barry advertising costs will be a bit up
barry and due to the resignation from INOD, the INOD stock held by us
will be
barry treated as "available for sale" securities rather than as an
"equity investment"
barry as a result we will no longer recognize our ownership share of
INOD income
barry which was 276K in the 1st qtr.
barry in addition as a result of this change in accounting for INOD
we will be required
barry to show deferred tax expense at approx. a 40% rate on pretax
income which is expected
barry to start in the 2nd qtr.
barry the short version is: we're going to have to start reporting
after tax earnings
barry hence when u calculate all of this in - i expect the 2nd qtr
earning after tas to be
barry after tax to be around 4 to 5 cents.

barry repurchased stock is retired ! not for option grants - it is
taken out of the shares outstanding
