Starting in the mid-1970's, Mark would commonly fill in on the drums in his older brother's various bands. By 1978, he helped form one of Chili, NY's first punk rock groups. In 1979, he was called on to play in the group "Images." From 1980 to 1990, Mark played drums with The Commercials, including when they were showcased along side 10,000 Maniacs. Following his 10 year run in that group, Mark went on to play for another 10 years in clubs reunited in bands with his brother and many other talented folks. Mark's career as a musician began almost 30 years ago, and he is best remembered by music fans in Rochester, New York as the drummer from The Commercials from 1980-1990. Fans of Rochester Radio remember Mark as the overnight guy at WMAX 106.7FM (from 1993-1998). Since that time, Mark has continued to work in music and as of 2005 he has joined up with the group "Extended Family."
