All the models I checked so far are showing a storm just south of Mobile Alabama in 5 days. The models might soon be picking up on this new convection around Jamaica. I can't make out any clear signs of counterclockwise rotation yet, but I got my eye on it. The GFS model forecasts the shear around Jamaica to drop out a couple of times over the next 48 hours. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/watl/loop-rgb.html
