on the west side it's kinda bad - here's traffic map
http://traffic.houstontranstar.org/layers/
tollway is still "green" on NW side cuz nobody's leaving their homes in droves per usual just yet
Little Cypress Creek out here was over it's banks this am, so the route I usually take was out of the question - Cypress Creek was high but ok, tho 290 was out of the question. Jersey Village area (further in 290) was reporting flooding due to White Oak Bayou (the one that flooded our last home)
I'm waiting it out - will go in late, my 10:30 will probably cancel anyway & I'm kinda hoping the 2:30 does too !
Storms still building to our NW http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=hgx&product=N0R&overlay=11101111&loop=yes
it all eventually flows to the Gulf, so I would expect more bayous/creeks to go up later
