SOI drops hard to positive 12.4--would expect it to go to slightly negative or zero, as, again, this is the low impedence location on earth and it basically traps all electron precip in its coupling and doesn't allow any to the Pacific ITCZ for extremes of any to occur.

Lightning associated with HT. Looks like actual low and HT are not in same place--HT is in a band to east of the center. This HT is more centrally located over west central Bay of Bengal. It's more to the forecast track toward the NE, which may be interesting in terms of shear off the top of the storm center . . .:
