Posted by graeme We have the same problem in Australia in that the specification on the plan is not available. One of our builders has done a lot of research and checked the metal out and concluded that 6061T6 of the same guage will serve equally well as the metal specified in the plan. I have just purchased plans and am beginning research to satisfy myself of the suitability of the metal as a substitute. I am pretty sure the Australian commercially built Airborne Edge trike is built of 6061T6. Keep in touch (offline if you like) at thermal@dodo.com.au re this issue.
