Gentlemen
I have read both books that you are speaking of, the book by Vukusic and the Cuvari Jugoslavije.
We all know that these actions were going on during the time of Yugo, and we all know that there were supposed "insiders" trying to get information on Croats outside of Yugo.
: It is a book that has like a page on a person,
: then where they moved and who they were
: looking at. The one I saw was more or less
: the Croats in the UDBA that now live in
: Canada and US. It is true that it should come
: out, but how reliable is the source that is
: what I want to know. Books are not always
: true and we all know that.

: Are you sure thats the same book? I don't
: remember reading anything like that in the
: book? the book I read was in Croatian and it
: described the work of Udba agents mostly from
: Yugoslavia itself who were sent out into the
: world to kill "extremist" Croatians
: in the diaspora(mostly western Europe but
: also South America, Australia and North
: America). The book mentioned guys who still
: live in Croatia or Bosna but I never saw
: specificaly anyone from Canada or the U.S.?
: Maybe I didnt read it well enough I only had
: it for a few days and the book was like 700
: pages long. Another thing is everyone should
: know who the jugo communist bastards where.
: Why keep living in lies? plus what this book
: shows is that only like a fraction of the
: evidence from the juga days was made
: available to the public there is so much more
: shit that we dont even have a clue about so
: this is just the begining. Croatia can't move
: forward untill the past is clear and that
: includes everything that happened during the
: NDH, right through whatever happened in
: communist jugoslavija. Whoever was working
: with the Udba was a !prodana dusa! worse than
: someone who had to be in the communist party
: to support his family and get by day to day
: in life. There is a difference.

: Ya thats the book. This bok is causing a lot
: of
: trouble within the Croatian community where I
: am from. I saw a photo copy of a mission
: statement on one person I know in Canada. It
: tells everything that he did. I do not know
: if it is a good book to put out because it
: will cause a bad reaction in the Croatian
: community. Like just say your nieghbour is in
: it, and you had no clue, you would look at
: him a lot different. My opinion is that they
: should have waited yo put it out.

: : Hey Livno
: I did not get a copy of the book, but it is
: called Cuvari Jugoslavije. I did a search on
: google under "Cuvari Jugoslavije"
: in quotes and I did find some references to
: it. Including to a link where you can get a
: copy. I had a good article in English about
: the book, but I can't seem to find it...

: This is my first time on the site, it looks
: great but needs more people in it. Anyway,
: has anyone got thier hands on the book that
: came out about the UDBA. It is a book giving
: out the names of Croats in Canada and America
: that took part in UDBA missions. Spying and
: such on Croats in North America. If anyone
: has heard put forth some info please.
