Libertas, are you calling me a Yugoslav and a Communist because I voted for HDZ? That's very unfair of you. I didn't know that there's a serb in the government, but even if there is, what can I do? If he want's to do whatever's best for Croatia then that's fine by me. And there should be representatives for Minorities in the Government. All countries have that, why shouldn't we? And all this talking about going back to the "stara juga", that's just Bullsh*t! Croatia will never go back to the Stara Juga because not even the Serbs want to go back to that, it's history! Where the hell have you been?! And HDZ is the Party that wants to join NATO, and if they do we will be safe from Serbian (or whatever country) agression as long as the Alliance exsists. You know, my grandfather talks about how he's afraid that we will go back to the old Juga, and he's almost an analphabetical! But you, who's educated, should know better. There are alot of Serbs involved in Croatia in one or another way, Footballplayers such as Bosko Balaban (who's parents are serbs) play for Croatia (and proudly!)...So, If a politician, who's lived in Croatia all his life, want to represent the Croatian people then that's fine by me, as long as he does it as a Croat! Not as a Serb. You call him a Serb because he's a pravoslavac...But he's a Croatian Pravoslavac. And you talk about Vukovar, Skabrnje etc etc, yes, It was terrible, it will torment our history for all time. But was HE involved in those massacres? Probably not, he maybe even helped Croatia. Or maybe he was forced to refuge because of his religion. But I highly doubt that he was helping the aggressors. Otherwise not even Sanader would have put him in the coalition. He would have been banned for life. Stop being so cynical and stop judging everybody because of their culture. Yes, Serbs attacked Croatia, but not ALL serbs. There were serbs against the war too you know. Alot of people from the former Krajina were against the war and those who've returned back have shown loyalty to Croatia (I've seen alot of documentaries about it on HTV) I know a serb during the war that fought for us beacuse he was born in Croatia. He was a doctor and did alot to help. Is he a bad person because he's not Catholic? Libertas, your judgemental view of this whole situation made me very upset. Don't EVER, EVER call me or a person a Comminist or a Yugoslav because of how he's voted or what kind of ideas he has. If someone is a communist it's Racan, but I don't judge people who voted for him. Can't you see, Communism is dead in Europe! Croatia will live forever, but not if people like you will come to power. Then we're doomed. You people from North America sure don't see what's happening here in Europe. Maybe you should visit more often and stop reading the tabloids all the time. I see what's happening, and it's not perfect, but they're at least trying to make things better. Give them some time. Rome wasn't built in one day!
