Which means to me that other attacking players were not used and thus it was going to be one of our defensive players who would have to be our best player in such a perticular game which is sad esspecialy when he does not score a goal or assist. Zivkovic is usually a ghost when we have our attacking team out there. He is clumsy in my opinion and tackles like Stimac did towards the end of his career(very rough and bound to draw a card) I dont like him or Simunic in our defence, Tomas is better than these 2 i would say on defence but never again in midfield he was dreadful up there as I am sure I am not the only to think this way. Fine Zivkovic can be in the squad but to be captain??? thats messed up. Prso right now is our best forward and overall attacking player. While R.Kovac is our most stable defender. In midfield we have Leko who seems to me like he is going to go on to bigger and better things as time progresses, and Rapaic still but he is still without a team and is out of shape usualy. I'm no expert either but what i do know is that I would never play players out of thier original positions to make up for the lack of talent in that certain position. Never defenders playing midfield its hideous. It not only hinders the team it makes those usualy good defenceman look like bad players when in fact that is not thier job. Like putting Ronaldo on D??? he would get schooled. We still have to have faith in Baric he has made both good and bad moves the deciding moves are still to come against Slovenia though which is gonna be huge ZA DOM SPREMAN --Previous Message--
Yeah sorry I misread the way you worded the first post. Yeah I think our line-up against Mexico had Jarni-Zivkovic-Simunic-Saric in the back 4 I believe with N.Kovac and Tomas in the defensive midfield roles and Soldo in the center midfield role, Prosinecki right behind Boksic and Suker a little farther ahead. I'm not too sure of the line-up either because I could've sworn that R.Kovac was in there somewhere too but i guess the line-up was a 4-3-1-2 i have no clue though because we had 7 defensive players in the game at one point which was hideous to see. The only attacking players were guys who could no longer run(Suker and Prosinecki and even Boksic who played pretty well was still 32 at the time)
