Tomislav we played 5-3-1-1. My memory is a little scratchy, I know N. Kovac, Prosinecki and ?Thomas? was in our midfield with Suker playing behind Boksic. I am only an ametuer by any stretch of the imagination but I hate playing that system. Strikers need partners with them and support from midfield. Playing one striker leaves him against 3-4 defenders at all times, another guy up front at least running off making space, wall passes ect. Midfield support is obvious.
You might remember our line up then?
Plus you don't rate Zivkovic......?I thought he was our best player against Belgium and he has done well at Portsmouth this season.
