He should have mustered as many men he could gone to a big town and made one last stand going down in a blaze of fire. If it lasted a week or a month who knows. 100,000 men in a big biult up city fighting hand to hand combat. I suppose anything is better than being unarmed and sluaghtered and it not being recognised for so long. It would have done down in the history books as Croats fighting for thier existance after the fall of the Reich. They would have become of Croatian vitezi and become martors for future generations.
What can I say Tomislav your last sentence sums up my thinking to a tee. It makes my blood boil when the Serbs and thier foes attack Croatia with thier lies.
The Serbs attack Pavelic and the likes to siute thier own agenga, propaganga and mythical philosophy and history! When the truth is the Serbs (who portray themselves as a race of "victums" and a peaceful race of do gooders) are primitive war mongers while us are Croats are potrayed as a race of genocidal monsters when that is furthest from the truth.
Anyway we all know that "Greater Serbia" ideology and mythology has got nothing to do with any outside influence ie NDH Pavelic ect...It's origins date back well before that time. It also gives me the shits when the Serbs talk about Croatias past and they are biased, selective and don't look at the whole picture focussing on the usual themes.
