However, I just cant get the thought out of my head that division and ethnic purity is exactly what the Serbs wanted and what they committed genocide for. Therefore, going down that road achieves Serbian military goals. I just cant possibly accept the fact that the best solution for Bosnas Catholics lies in the achievement of Serbian military goals.
I mostly agree with you and you can see by reading any of my posts that I dont support Croats leaving BiH. In fact, I have a hard time imagining a more difficult time for Croats in BiH. Through all of the things you mentioned, Turks, Yugoslavia
Catholics in Bosna survived and they did it through tolerance and respect for others as well as holding on to their identities and traditions. In earlier posts, I laid out the examples of fra Andeo Zvizdovic , Ivan Frano Jukic as well as Josip Markusic. Like you said, there were extremely difficult times for Bosnian Catholics
the difference between then and now is that the three men I mentioned, as leaders of Bosnas Catholics never separated themselves from Bosna and never advocated division and redrawing of borders. The current leadership is only interested in filling their pockets and going over the same tired old plans that have no chance of success.

You are correct that the current protectorate isnt really the answer either. It seems to me that it doesnt let Bosna live and it also doesnt let it die. But I think as long as we look at the problem of Croats in BiH and we try to solve it in terms of whats best for Croatia, we end up missing the point. I know I use it in every post
but its planting in Bosna and praying for rain in Croatia.
