Stijepan good points I just wanna ask one question. Why do we have to respect the present day borders of Croatia and BiH which were drawn up by none other than Tito?(who was under the wests control when they were drawn up at Yalta I believe in 1945). Croatia's present borders aren't correct(for the most part they are) but before entering the first yugoslavia in 1918 within Croatia's borders was Srijem and Boka Kotorska Tito just drew up the borders at his own will and to weaken Croatia. And I'm not even talking about Bosna I Hercegovina here. See what I mean why do we have to respect that old commie bastard and why are our present day borders determined by him? a man who never even cared about Croatia.
: The answer is actually fairly simple. Croats
: in BiH have one of two choices.
: 1. Stop separating themselves from BiH and
: their own identities and search for
: solutions within the government in Sarajevo
: and the international community.
: 2. Join Croats from Banja Luka, Posavina and
: other parts of BiH in Knin and other formerly
: Serb parts of Croatia.
: I'm sorry to say these are the only two
: options. Creation of a third BiH entity
: would require international friends and
: allies to lobby for this. Not only do BiH
: Croats not have international allies to lobby
: for them...they don't even have Croatia.
: Croatia's already got a full plate of
: international demands in response to its
: wishes to join the EU. There's no way
: they're risking their hard earned
: international good will on the BiH Croats.
: So if you're looking for someone to blame for
: this catastrophic position...start in 1992
: and follow the letters...H....D....Z.
: Annexing HercegBosna to Croatia officially
: died in 1994 with the Washington Sporazum.
: Plus, are you willing to risk Italian and/or
: Hungarian minorities in Croatia asking to
: join their fatherlands? (BTW...how is this
: different from what the Krajina Serbs
: wanted?)
: It seems that a lot of people already
: consider BiH Serb/Muslim territory
: anyway...maybe the best long-term answer is
: for all Croats to abandon this failed
: multi-cultural experiment, move to Knin and
: finish the work that Tudjman and Susak began
: and truly unite all Croats in one
: country...Boban actually said it when asked
: about Posavina Croats...Rvacka je siroka! He
: suggested they move to the islands. Perhaps
: that's the way forward
