| My excitement this AM... so glad I have dogs

Banjo and Huck started barking while I was on the phone with Christine... I looked out the window and "ALL" of the horses were in the driveway... and the gate was open... I let the dogs out, told them to get them back.... they know that command, that means that they get to chase them away from the fence. It amazes me that those 2 dogs who have never gotten any real training for herding, know exactly what to do. Huck went flying along the side of the driveway, no barking until he had snaked along the back of the herd while Banjo went through the field so that he could come up the driveway through the open gate where he stood barking to keep them from going through it... My neighbor from across the road was running up his driveway, swinging a rope of sorts... but Banjo and Huck pulled it off... Huck gave a couple of sharp barks to get them moving away from the fence and down the field while Banjo stayed at the gate till the neighbor shut it, then Banjo took off to help Huck run them back into the pasture. Sureyn was having a cow with the horses running right past his paddock so Banjo chased Sureyn to the other end of his pen while Huck kept at the horses to chase them back to the pasture... Those two dogs worked together as if they had a signal thing going... they both knew what to do to help the other one out. They both stayed around the fenceline while I spliced the wire back onto the pole... Learned from my other neighbor that Satch was using it as a rubbing post and the wire probably broke off the pole when he rubbed it... He was the first one through the fence. It made for an exciting morning... I got my exercise in, the dogs got to run a bit and Shaina got to bark her head off while making short dashes to show the horses she was on the watch... LOL
