69.144.143.11Seriously. Im trying to lose about 20 lbs to be down to 120, though my current 140 is normal for my 5'5 frame. I think I more need to tone my c'section pooch down really than lose weight. My husband says he wants me to get more meat on my bones

I believe losing weight is best done when its personal goals - not goals for someone else. I think its a great idea Rebecca that you gals are getting together and doing this. It always helps when you have people joining you. Has anyone thought about the Biggest Loser Club? I have some books on trial (like 30 day trial) with great recipes and exercises. Ive seen people on the show lose anywhere from 3-4 lbs up to 10 lbs a week - depending on how assertive they are in wanting to lose weight and do what it takes.

I accept your challenge though.
I want to weigh between 160 - 180 That sounds like a lot but I am 5'11" so that is a good average for my height and age.
Where are you going to start the blog? How about exercises, what types and how they work for you. Remember I can't walk although I keep trying. I would love to find some exercises that specifically target gaining leg strength as well as some that will at least help tone my stomach some.
A personal goal I have... is to ride both Khadie and my stallion in a dressage show... even if it is just a schooling class for both of them. And I want to look good on them

69.230.116.123...with you in spirit! I waited for our last big stressful event of the year to come and go and then I got on the bandwagon again, started my program last Monday and down 6 lbs so far. My goal is 10 lbs. per month. Winter is such a nice time to begin... get to enjoy lots of warm, healthy chicken/vegetable soup and other hearty healthy dishes.
