Think of all the investigations and lawsuits the Clintons had to face while he was president. Yet, he managed to stay in office and turn over a country doing rather well to the next administration. Sorry, but that is just an unacceptable excuse to resign. However, I will reserve judgment as to her reasons until we actually learn what they were.
Apparently, though, she is not the tough woman many thought she was -- what's the saying? When the going gets tough, the tough get going? (And I don't think they meant out of office.)
She's lost some credibility as the result of this move. But I wish her the best and hopes she finds herself again -- not the woman the GOP made her into.
