stacking it that way helps it dry faster but we don't have a wood stove anyways (yet). With all this beetle kill the wood is free, this stuff is from the neighbor's 800 acre place. We have no pine trees so infected wood isn't a problem. I'll just be impressed if the horses don't knock that pile down.
