Oh gee... it's been so long since we got our UPC codes that I forget the organization's name.
Whoever you get them from, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY AN ANNUAL FEE... EVEN IF THEY SAY YOU DO! Don't fall for it or sign any agreements.
You can search for bar coding solutions.. or, just use one of the barcode fonts (you may need to buy the fonts)... and make your own 12 digit numbers. .. if I recall correctly, it's the last four numbers that change with the different products... the first six or eight are the ones you'll use for your company identification.
I may not be much help.. like I said, it's been a long time.
