...next door.
Our neighbor, Dave, was given a 17hh Clyde Cross gelding, 9 years old, reportedly broke to ride and drive. I saw him in after dark so went over there this morning to get a view of him in the daylight. My good camera is away at the camera spa so I am using my little point and shoot.
Dave put him (doesn't have a name yet) in the arena with Cowboy (StaceyS's former horse known to her as "Beans")
Then he added his bay QH "Spud" (center). I'm pretty sure Spud and Cowboy are 16hh or close to it.
Cowboy made the first overt move....
And the second one...
This one made me laugh. Cowboy nosing in from behind... made me think of my Seannie, lol, who always has his nose into someone's business.
Big boy looks like he just wants acceptance.
I'd like to see a better back end on the big horse but the good news is he seems to have
inherited the gentle giant side of his breeding and so far has been a very nice gentleman
with no objections to Dave's handling of him.
One of the vehicles Dave plans to eventually use with the new horse (and Cowboy, too)
