http://netposse.com/stolenmissing/MaxILstolenAug08.htm He was a medicine hat paint that was recovered in MO several months after he was stolen from IL. He had been purchased in MO for a little girl and when his family found him they offered another one of their horses to the girl as a replacement but it was too much horse for her. Through networking our friend in MT who has started a little rescue program ( http://www.ranch2ring.shutterfly.com/) had the perfect horse for this little girl rescued from an auction up there.
