even at his old age is a pain in the butt on fences in general. He knows when we don't put the chains around the post so he can push the gate open, and he will play with those chains to see if he can open the gate. He is also my fence leaner and twice now has pushed the pasture fence down to get to the grass on the other side... not that it was any better, just didn't like the fence in his way. 
The dogs are amazing... we would love to be able to get them trained and doing real work... I am amazed sometimes, like this morning, just how well they do without any type of formal training.
I am glad it worked out ok too... am super glad I am far off a real road but even on our dirt road it would have been a hassle to get them rounded up without visiting one of the neighbors and causing mischief... "Good dogs"
