It's amazing to see the dogs work together when they know what their job is, isn't it?
Glad you got your horses back in quickly before they could get out onto the road or into any mischief.
We have to chain every gate because some of ours work on the latches... and had, in the past, let themselves out.
When we lived in Colorado, the gal down the street had horses and a mule in a pen of that ribbon hotwire. The mule would shove the yearling through the fence.. so it would take down the fence. Then they'd all come up to our place... end up visiting our horses.. and hang out in the driveway until we'd pen them up and wait for the owner to come get them. There were about five or six of them. (we didn't want them there.. not knowing if they'd had their shots, etc)
One day, there were two pretty grey arabs in the driveway. .. but they were flighty.. and took off before we could catch them.
