Just feed kibble, it should be a complete feed. One of my Chessies had to be on Lamb & rice dog food because of loose stools. He ate Nutro's Natural Choice Lamb and Rice for 10 years (puppy, then adult). Last year I switched to Pedigree because of $$. But he is doing great on the pedigree, he must have outgrown his allergies.
