You've hit on something that is very important. Find what works and stick with it. With this pup, we haven't found what works for her yet.
I am always amazed at how people are always changing feed for their animals. My gelding has been on the same feed for 12 years. I don't change it because it works prefectly for him. It may not work for another horse but it works for him. I don't follow the latest and greatest fads. I learned, a long time ago, from one of the founders of AQHA, this feeding regiment. It makes life so much easier once you figure it out.
