I may have figured out the answer to my question (below).. but I'm still waiting for the *results*.. but thought I'd ask here. I'm going to go ahead and call the vet when the office opens in a little while (since she already saw El on monday)..
.. but El's diahria has gone from 'pudding' to (yesterday afternoon) 'thinner than pudding'. ..
However, *one* factor may be the flavored rawhide bone that she's been knawing on since we got her... Yesterday, the knot finally softened, relaxed & came un-knotted, creating an 8" strip... about the time the business phone rang.. but the strip was *gone* by the end of the phone call. From that point on, her poo has been almost water-like. (hence, I'm thinking the rawhide may be the problem)
Needless to say, as soon as I realized that may be the problem, I took all of the rawhide away. But, as of this morning (5 poops later), it's still watery.
I gave her some Pepto about an hour ago. Hopefully, that will help some. .. and I'll call the vet when the office opens. I don't want to go into the weekend with her having diahria. ugh.
Anyway, I guess my question is, "Have any of you had to deal with puppy diahria?" .. and if so, what got rid of it??
Oh.. the vet wormed her on monday.
