I havent seen many kids around here. most of them are under 8 easily. Our neighbor is a couple with the most annoying (but cute) black shepard of sorts. The girl got in her man's car and started thumping the music - I looked outside said "Im sure your man wouldnt like that, my kids sure dont, and I have 3 that are trying to sleep". She peacefully turned it down, and we know when she is coming home because we hear the music stop all of a sudden. Their dog barks all the time when he is outside - rather annoying. The guy is nice, said hi a few times. Byrd is about to get beat though. The guy that owns the sewage place behind us is STILL trying to use our mailbox for his mail. Ive sent a notice to the companies on the envelopes not to send mail here anymore, and the post office says unless the guy goes in to change his address, Im SOL. LOL NO HE is SOL when he never gets his mail anymore.
So anyway, the neighborhood isnt bad - there are too many places that have old vehicles or kids crap all over the place. Dont know if you remember, but there is a house that is across from where you used to live that has a round driveway - thats the place that was just going for like $64,000. It was really trashed and we were going to buy it but thank God we didnt!
This place to us is more like home because we fell in love with the design. Used to live in this exact same design before we moved to Canon except the previous house was 4 bedroom , this is 5. Canon feels more like home to us because most of the people are really nice and I LOVE my mountains. I think the county could do more with North Canon though. Force people to clean up their property and do something about these "perfect for 4 wheeling" dirt roads lol.
