the American breed of GS have longer legs.. Ron was looking specifically for the German bloodlines.. lower in the back end & shorter legs. The breeder has guaranteed their hips are good.
We'll see.
The closest thing I ever had was a GS/black lab mix. .. looked like a solid black GS.. but was happy like a lab. .. yet, still had GS tendancies. He was a good dog. .. went with the X
