The only difference was that ours had more of a silver look to her points. Penny actually belonged to my oldest son... they were very close, that dog brought him out of a lot of emotional hardships... was right after his dad took off and I truly think that it was the dog who pulled Jim out of a deep depression and downspin of his life.
Penny gave us 4 litters of beautiful pups... several of whom when on to serve in the PD. We got her from a PD breeder and bred her back to his dogs. She also had 2 that became guide dogs...
As a guard dog she was unique... she was sweet and loving when we were in the house or yard, but watch out if we left the room and you were left alone in the house or yard... she would not let you move out of your position. Gave you that "look"...
Your pup has that look too... smart, savy and don't mess with me. GS are a regal looking dog, as if they are kings and queens...
