It would be hard to conceptualize getting a horse as thin as Sureyn was and in foal/nursing a foal... He was not only thin but so depressed that just getting him to eat was a miracle in itself... Can imagine how hard it must have been for those friends of yours to nourish that mare through those times. They have done an awesome job! ! ! Getting weight on that mare who was feeding a foal... "wow"...
It just blows my mind sometimes as to how people treat their critters...
