Seriously. Im trying to lose about 20 lbs to be down to 120, though my current 140 is normal for my 5'5 frame. I think I more need to tone my c'section pooch down really than lose weight. My husband says he wants me to get more meat on my bones

I believe losing weight is best done when its personal goals - not goals for someone else. I think its a great idea Rebecca that you gals are getting together and doing this. It always helps when you have people joining you. Has anyone thought about the Biggest Loser Club? I have some books on trial (like 30 day trial) with great recipes and exercises. Ive seen people on the show lose anywhere from 3-4 lbs up to 10 lbs a week - depending on how assertive they are in wanting to lose weight and do what it takes.
