The Rocky Mountain Dressage Society, which is a USDF (United States Dressage Foundation) group member organization. All of the RMDS members are automatically USDF members. They allow all breeds, and all styles of riding. So now Cheyanne is not only registered with 3 mustang registrations, but also the Pinto Horse Registry and now the RMDS. Why all the registrations? Because I can, and because this next year when we actually get to showing, we can show in specific shows that are registry-only shows, and any points earned stay with her (not the rider).
We have been in debate about breeding her to an AQHA registered stallion: Dun Adventure - who is the great grandson of Reminic and Hollywood Dun It, and who's sire is Chex N Dun It. Dunnys demeanor is just like Cheyanne's, which is why we believe they would be a perfect match for a foal. Of course, breeding season wouldnt be until April / May 2010 for a March / April 2011 baby. What would the foal be used for, you're wondering? Barrel racing, gymkana, and working cattle. If it doesnt have speed or cow-sense, then we'll see - but it definitely wont be a pasture pony. Not when it can (and would) be registered. But we'll see. Nothing is set in stone.
