Ahoy there matey, I have been a close friend of "the Mortimer" for over 20 years and i can assure you that his sound is(are you ready for the secret).......in his HANDS. John has used over the years, Marshalls, HI-Watt, Soldanos, you name it matey, and thats just the amps, then theres GUITARS, EFFECTS ETC ETC ETC. John has a passion for music which consumes him, he loves it man, and this love shows through in the sound. I would bet that you could plug John into a toaster or a blender... and it would still come out sounding METAL! (do you remember my old radio John?) John is a pleasure to work with,hes very insperational and i think hes the best, the very best HEAVY METAL RIFFING RYTHM PLAYER IN THE WORLD......FULL STOP.
