Posted by Tobi My name is Tobi, in 2005 some friends and I plan the release of a Tribute album for the japanese NWOBHM maniacs GORGON in order to celebrate their 10th anniversary. GORGON have been formed in 1995 and they really keep on the great spirit of the late 70s, early 80s. They've released about 10 vinyl singles now thru their own label and they always hail the glorious NWOBHM days. Next to their own songs, they also play many cover tunes, for example from Black Axe ("Highway Rider"), b###hes Sin ("Ice Angels"), Soldier ("Sheralee") and even Holocaust ("H.M.Mania"). So, are you probably interested in covering a GORGON song and taking part in this Tribute, too? If yes, I can get you a CDR with all of their own songs + the lyrics. So far, there are already the following bands confirmed for the Sampler: Wytchkraft (BRA), Denim & Leather (BRA), Ritual Steel (GER), Axewielder (GER), Sabbat (JPN) and Momie (FRA).
