Posted by Manfred I know two solutions to this problem. 1) Minimize HEW during code download. 2) Set a higher process priority for HEW. 'Realtime' works best but if HEW hangs you have to turn of your computer, so 'High' should work fine. Perhaps someone who has access to Renesas Support can send a bug report. I use HEW together with GNUH8 v501 and have no support access. Sincerely,
