H8S2357F - SCI Initialisation

Hi, In the hardware manual, it specified a 1 bit wait before setting the TE (Transmit enable and RE (receive enable) bits. However, I have totally no idea how to implement this 1-bit wait. Does anyone have an idea how to code this 1-bit wait? i.e. either in C or Assembley? Thanks in advance. Regards, John
