SCI0 Synchronous mode and SPI

Hello,
I've programmed the communication of a SH7045 (SCI0) with a SPI real time clock(DS1305).
The communication don't works fine. I think that when a interrupt break the SPI routine, then data has corrupted.
I want to use the SCI0 interrupts to asign them priority, but I can't activate the RIE bit of SCI0_SCR register.
Anyone knows how to use interrupts to do a synchronous communication?
