Hi there!
I work for a medical company and I'm developing a cardiac monitor.
I'm using the H8S2148AFA20 micro-controller that has 128Kb of program memory. In my bus, I have a LCD video-controller (S1D13705) from Espon and a 2-USART chip (SCC2292), from Phillips.
I'm in the final stage of my project, but the program memory is not enough to complete my software.
Is there another pin-to-pin compatible micro controller wich has more than 128Kb of program memory?
How can I increase the program memory of my board without change the micro-controller? Can I add a external flash memory to the bus? How can I do this?
Do you have any application note or example circuit wich can I base?
What are the most appropriated flash memory to use in this case?
Thanks,
