Weird FTIO problem on 3664 EDK

Got some weird things happening with the FTIO outputs on a 3664 EDK. When I set one high (TOA = 1) I get other FTIO pins turning on even though they are low and not altered in the same code piece. Is there something funky with timer W that I'm missing... Cheers
