Posted by Steve Earp On reading the documentation supplied with FDT1.5 titled "FLASH development toolkit kernel guide". It's a little un-clear to me which parts of the test code I need to integrate into my system. Using "Gentest.c" I've taken the routines "Jumpcopy", "Get" and "Put" and integrated them into my software and written my our routine to configure the comms port to work with "Get" and "Put". Having disabled my interrupts I enable the FWE pin for USER mode and call "Jumpcopy" where upon the code crashes. I've made sure that the RAM start and end addressed are in a available part of RAM. What is the "Gentest.c" code expecting to find at the USER_KERNEL_LINK_ADDRESS? Is there something else that I need to include? Do you have any advice or and further application notes which may be of use? Or maybe you may have a similar set-up that you have got working? P.S. I'm using the latest version of the IAR Embedded Workbench (EWH8S-V1.53D) to compile and link my code Best Regards, Steve Earp,

We are having a problem getting our 3067 micro to program in USER mode. We have successfully programmed our target hardware with code in BOOT mode using the FDT1.5 software. So we know the "FDT kernel build assistant" created the correct *.cde files etc. Am I right in thinking that, if using the FDT, all I need in my software is a "Micro user kernel" that gets overwritten by the "Main user kernel" supplied by running the FDT in USER mode?
