HEW and W2K\XP

I'm working in a pretty humid environment here and noticed that when I use the HEW\HDI tools suppled with EVB2148 that my cpu temperature shoots through the roof.
The reason? Well, it turns out that the tools do not relinquish processing to the OS Idle Process thread. Consequently, they are rattling away at 100% even when sitting there doing nothing. CTRL+ALT+DEL and look at the process percentages when one of the tools is running.
Thought I'd mention it, not tidy. Apart from that enjoying the tools.
