Yes if you use the UPB in direct mode and FDT with direct connection you can visit HMSE.com and download the kernels for the H8/3664, which will provide FDT support for this device, this is given here as a link. Here you can connect the Tx and Rx of the UPB (and power) to the H8 boot pins and program the device. If you use the UPB not in direct mode you may require other connections to your device such as a P Mode pin. The signals should be included on the UPB schematics.
