debug code for EVB2357

I would like to generate code with kpit coff gnu tools on HEW4 for a EVB2357F running his original hitachi monitor and HDI. Code is working and running, HDI too but i cannot see the source C code , ( HDI says no debug code in object available )
Is it possible to configure kpit Compiler to generate object code for HDI ?
