    Parker, an Indiana All-Star from Tippecanoe Valley, works on her family's 1,100-acre dairy farm when chores beckon, whether they're baling hay, mowing the lawn or "turning" 300-pound calves.

    "There was one time a cow was out and we were trying to get it into a pen, and we were in a very wide-open pasture, so it could run wherever," Parker said. "I was running and I stopped, and this cow was coming right at me and jukes me, and I slip on a cow pad and crashed on the ground hard. I turned it so many times, but it just kept coming back."

    For a quintessential gym rat such as Parker, even farm life equates to basketball.

    "That's what I always say - how well you can turn cows is how well you can play defense," Parker said. "They're pretty quick. You have to make it turn the other way without getting run over. They're not willing to knock you over, but if you get in their way and they can't stop, they knock you over."
