I made the trip up to Crown Point tuesday night for Sectional 2 action. Merrillville failed to utilize fundamental m2m defensive principles and it cost them in a 47-35 loss to Valparaiso while CP point guard Cassie Pruzin controlled the tempo of the game, made smart passes, scored 20 points and collected 8 steals in leading CP to six point win over Chesterton.
